Another milestone delivered by Nord Minerals: a new floating pump station in Kazakhstan has been fully assembled by our team and is technically ready for operation.
Built for a site operating in extreme conditions — from –45°C winters to +45°C summers — the station was engineered to meet real-world demands for durability, performance, and adaptability.
The station features pumps by ROITECH — a trusted partner of Nord Minerals. We’re proud to be their exclusive supplier in Kazakhstan, bringing reliable, high-performance pumping solutions to the market.
Key specs:
🔹 4 ROITECH pump units (2 operational + 2 standby)
🔹 Capacity: 600 m³/h ±20% (frequency controlled)
🔹 Power: 75 kW per unit
The design and layout were developed in-house by Nord Minerals on our proprietary floating pontoon platform — already proven in multiple complex projects.
From delivery and installation to full integration of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems — the station is now waiting for one last thing: sufficient water level. Once nature gives us green light and the water rises, the system goes live.
