Nord Minerals has signed a contract for the supply of two ball mills for a copper processing plant. Delivery and installation are scheduled for the second half of 2026.
The solution was developed prior to the tender, based on long-term cooperation with the customer and a deep understanding of the plant’s operating conditions.
The project involves replacing mills that have reached the end of their service life and require increased maintenance. The new solution is aimed at reducing the risk of unplanned downtime and improving overall production efficiency.
The design preserves the existing installation dimensions, enabling a faster replacement process. Key components have also been standardized to simplify maintenance and spare parts management.
The project will follow a previously proven approach, with parallel assembly of new equipment and dismantling of existing units. This will help minimize the impact on production.
Nord Minerals has already completed a similar project at this site, replacing a crusher in just three days.
The company continues to develop its partnership with the customer, delivering solutions focused on reliability and predictable performance.
