Nord Minerals became the supplier of a floating pump stations for the greenfield project Almalyk MMC JSC

Almalyk MMC JSC one of the world's largest copper-molybdenum ore deposit named "Yoshlik-1" and responsible for copper mining plant construction with the capacity of more than 60 million ore tons per year.

These floating pump stations fit copper concentrator water supply for constructing plant. These pump stations are designed and supplied by Nord Minerals on a turnkey basis: two pump stations have six operating and two standby pumping units, each with a capacity of 2000 m3/hr.

The combined capacity of the two floating pump stations will be 12,000 m3/h and the total water pressure is over 130 meters.

In addition to the floating modules elements of onshore infrastructure, such as operator's office, pump frequency converters located in individual block-modular buildings onshore are included in the scope of delivery.
