Nord Minerals continues expanding its footprint in Kazakhstan. This year, we partnered with Element Mining and Construction Oy (ELMC) to fully meet the need one of the largest mining and metallurgical enterprises in the region had in spare parts for its pumping and crushing equipment. This project marked an important milestone for us, thus confirming the competitiveness and high level of service we deliver.
What did our customer need?
Every year, our customer routinely purchases wearing parts for its crushing equipment and fleet of slurry pumps, including frame plate liner inserts, spacing plates, side liners, flow parts, throatbushes etc.
Nord Minerals has been supplying spare parts made by ELMC to its customer for similar applications in small quantities and demonstrating the benefits our solutions present for several years now.
In early 2024, our team won a bid, securing a supply contract for ELMC spare parts intended for Warman pumping equipment, fulfilling the need our customer had in components for the year ahead.
The customer used this time to verify the quality of ELMC products and eventually entrusted us to supply liners for all its crushing equipment until the end of 2025.
The bid also included spare parts supplied for the ATAIRAC JC140 jaw crusher we deliver to the client for its ongoing reconstruction project.
Project output
Our team set up the production and logistics processes so that most of the products were ready for shipment even before the contract was signed.
Our achievements:
- We completed the delivery a month ahead of schedule – the customer received the components without delays.
- We ensured a more than 20% reduction in operating costs compared to original spare parts.
- The factory can now use its equipment without interruptions during the year.
