Nord Minerals participated in Indonesia Miner Conference & Exhibition 2026, one of the largest industry events in Southeast Asia, bringing together mining companies, equipment manufacturers, and engineering organizations from around the world.
The company was represented both at the exhibition and within the conference program. Over the course of two days, Nord Minerals specialists met with partners and customers, discussing prospective projects and solutions for mining enterprises.
As part of the conference agenda, a Nord Minerals Flow Technologies expert delivered a presentation titled “Process Expertise that Pays Off: Improving Plant Performance through Flow and Equipment Optimization.”
The presentation was based on Nord Minerals’ project experience and the EPSS (Engineering, Procurement, Supervision and Service) approach, which supports customers throughout the entire project lifecycle — from engineering and equipment supply to supervision and after-sales service.
The presentation demonstrated how a system-wide view of production processes can deliver significant improvements in equipment reliability, operating cost reduction, and process stability. In many cases, the greatest gains are achieved not by replacing individual pieces of equipment, but through a comprehensive analysis of the entire system and its performance under real operating conditions.
During the session, practical case studies from the company’s project portfolio were presented. One case focused on the standardization of pumping equipment at a plant where multiple configurations had complicated maintenance and increased costs. System optimization simplified maintenance activities and reduced operating expenses.
Another example addressed the performance of valves operating in aggressive chemical environments. Instead of selecting another standard solution, Nord Minerals specialists adapted the valve design to actual operating conditions, significantly extending service life and reducing downtime.
Participation in Indonesia Miner 2026 provided Nord Minerals with another opportunity to showcase its engineering expertise and strengthen cooperation with mining companies in Indonesia and across the region.
