Nord Minerals continues to strengthen its position in the Indonesian market. The company has secured its largest contract to date for the supply of ROITECH knife gate valves to one of the country’s mining enterprises.
As part of the contract, Nord Minerals will supply approximately 120 ROITECH RT-KGV knife gate valves equipped with manual and pneumatic actuators. Equipment shipment is scheduled for the end of May, while installation and commissioning will take place during the summer of this year.
The project marks an important milestone in the development of Nord Minerals’ business in Indonesia. During the tender process, the company’s solution was evaluated alongside products from global equipment manufacturers as well as the customer’s existing suppliers. ROITECH was selected due to its combination of technical performance, competitive delivery times, and the positive experience of cooperation between the Nord Minerals team and the customer.
The equipment was manufactured under the supervision of ROITECH specialists and customer representatives. All valves successfully passed Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), confirming compliance with the specified requirements and readiness for operation at the site.
The equipment has already been dispatched to the customer’s site. Nord Minerals specialists will continue to support the project during the installation and commissioning stages.
Cooperation with the client is developing across several areas. Earlier this year, Nord Minerals also signed an agreement for the supply of Element spare parts and currently provides support for the fleet of Metso pumps operating at the site.
The new contract is further evidence of the growing trust that Indonesian mining companies place in Nord Minerals solutions and represents another important step in the company’s continued growth in the Southeast Asian market.
